When something goes wrong with the product you bought online what happens???

When you complain does the "customer support" department swiftly replace the faulty item / give you a refund?

Or, as seems to be happening more often now, especially when the item purchased is low cost, do they just ignore your complaints. They know that you are unlikely to take them to court, for something that costs £5, so they just wait until you give up. Really irritating isn't it?

Which is where FaceTheMusic.org.uk comes in........

Not only do you have a chance to complain and provide some adverse publicity..........but for selected companies, you will have the chance to have a short protest song written and recorded free on this site - and the song can then be downloaded free by anyone who visits this site. Got the idea????

The first company to come under scrutiny from Face the Music is TheUKSource.com based in Manchester - the story so far....

TheUKSource.com - In January I purchased a Nokia 6280 mains charger from this company based in Manchester - it worked well - for two days - then blew up fusing my ring main circuit. Since TheUKSource.com requires to issue a return number, I emailed them requesting a number. After almost four weeks of emailing them, I still have not received a reply. I've referred the matter to the Office of Fair Trading, sent them a recorded delivery letter requesting a refund and am still waiting.

Incidentally, the offending article at theUKSource.com has the ability to be reviewed online - I submitted a negative review which has not been published on the site - not exactly fair trading in my view

I've submitted a comment to www.blagger.com which has been published - the song about TheUKSource is written and now available for download
